Shipping Policy
Certain products are special order from Japan. Pro Lex Performance Inc. does not stock these items in inventory. We will place your order upon payment in full (personal checks will be held 10 days to clear). Special order items are noted.
Special order items typically take 6-12 weeks to arrive once the order has been placed (some items take longer, and this is noted on the respective product page). Often, the shipping time is less, however, sometimes we regret that the shipping times may be longer to circumstances beyond our control. We will do our best to keep you aware of the status of your order.
Special order items do not include international freight, customs, and local shipping. These costs are displayed at check-out. Special order & custom items are non-returnable.
Payment Policy
Orders will be processed once payment has been received. Personal checks, money orders, and cashier's checks are accepted. Personal checks will be held 10 days to clear. Money orders and cashier's checks are preferred.
We accept Visa and MasterCard. For credit card orders, please provide your exact name and expiration date as it appears on the card, complete billing address, phone number, specify Visa or MasterCard, credit card number, and credit card issuing bank name (note: Pro Lex Performance Inc. only ships to the credit card billing address). You may order via email at sales@prolexperformance.com or online.
We also accept payments via PayPal. You may use the following methods of payment when using PayPal: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, eCheck. Please remit payment to sales@prolexperformance.com.
Limitation of Liabilities
Under no circumstance will Pro Lex Performance Inc. be liable to any person or business entity for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or other damages based on any use of this web site or any other web site to which this site is linked, including, without limitation, any lost profits, business interruption, or loss of programs or information.
Lifetime Warranty Policy
New for 2003, we offer our customers a truly unique Lifetime Warranty. Who but Pro Lex Performance would have enough confidence in a product line to offer you this kind of protection?
WARRANTY STATEMENT: Select Pro Lex Performance products and replacement air filter elements purchased after 01/01/03 carry a limited lifetime warranty to the original purchaser against workmanship and material defects.
NOT COVERED BY LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY: Limited lifetime warranty does not cover supercharger kits or components, big brake kits or components, short shift kits, or filters used on racing or competition vehicles.
EXTENT OF WARRANTY: Pro Lex Performance will be responsible only for the replacement of a properly returned product should it be defective. Pro Lex Performance will not be responsible for other expenses incurred by the customer under the terms of the warranty. Pro Lex Performance will not be responsible for any damages; either consequential, contingent, special, or otherwise, and no expenses for injury arising directly or indirectly from the use of any PLP product.
WARRANTY REDEMPTION: Warranty performance will be initiated by contacting us for a RMA # before returning the alleged defective product. Products for warranty claims must be issued an RMA to be returned. Defective product must be shipped via postage paid shipping with the original, dated purchase receipt and RMA#. Please insure your item and ship with a traceable carrier. Please contact us through e-mail sales@prolexperformance.com for an RMA #.

PLP Products (Racing & Off-Road 1 Year Warranty)
WARRANTY STATEMENT: Pro Lex Performance products not covered by our lifetime warranty are warranted for one year and unlimited mileage to the original purchaser against workmanship and material defects. (big brake kits and components excluded)

Some items sold by Pro Lex Performance Inc. are for racing and off-road use only. These items are not intended for use or installation on any vehicle operated on public roads. Such use may violate State or Federal laws regarding emissions and/or motor vehicle safety standards.
Return Policy
New and unused items may be returned within 30 days from delivery date unless otherwise noted. Restocking fees will be assessed. Returns can only be made by contacting us for an RMA number. Please e-mail service@prolexperformance.com to request a number. New and unused item returns will be charged a 20% restocking fee. Refunds will not include shipping & handling costs. Special order & custom items are non-returnable. Used, opened, painted, scratched, or otherwise damaged items not in like-new condition will be accessed a replacement fee (which may possibly be 100% of the items cost).
Abandonment Policy
Certain special order items will have local shipping calculated at time of delivery in the U.S. Pro Lex Performance Inc. will note this in your order, and we will contact you once the item has arrived. The customer has 10 business days from the date that the customer is notified to submit payment for the local shipping. After 10 business days, Pro Lex Performance Inc. will refund the cost of the merchandise. This refund will not include the cost of international freight & customs. A 25% restocking fee will be deducted from the total of the product.
